CHILDREN from Quay Primary School in Bridlington raised the roof as they celebrated the end of winter at their annual Spring Sing.
Pupils from the reception classes and year one took part in three special assemblies, performing a selection of spring-themed songs to the rest of the school and their parents.

The Spring Sing has been running at the school for five years and early years manager Barbara Hodgson said it was always very popular.

"The children love it," said Mrs Hodgson, "They especially love performing for their families.

"Assembly events like the Spring Sing are aimed at promoting the children's self- confidence, as well as their musical ability."
