THE Free Press' exclusive story about a female member of staff being suspended at Headlands School has made headlines across the country.
We were the first to break the news but it has since been followed up by other regional media, as well national newspapers including the Daily Express, the Daily Telegraph and the News of The World.

Since our revelation, police have confirmed that
a woman has been bailed by officers investigating reports that inappropriate text messages were sent to a pupil at Headlands School

In last Thursday's edition, the Free Press exclusively revealed that a member of staff at the school had been suspended over the allegations.

But police are also involved and have confirmed a 25-year-old Bridlington woman has been arrested and released on bail until next early month.

The woman, who is believed to work at the school but is not a teacher, has been suspended.

A police spokesman said: "We are aware of allegations and have launched an investigation in conjunction with East Riding of Yorkshire Council."
