PREPARATIONS for Bridlington's big hospital protest march are well underway.
Campaigner Mick Pilling has taken delivery of thousands of leaflets and hundreds of posters to promote the demonstration on Saturday, July 26.

Now he wants people to help him dish out the leaflets and make sure they are on display everywhere you turn.

He said: "We need people to help with distributing of the leaflets door to door. People from all walks of life are needed in Bridlington, Driffield, Hornsea, Skipsea, Beverley, Filey and Scarborough.

"We need you to put these posters up everywhere, the success of this march depends on the vast publicity."

The leaflets and posters were designed and printed by the trade union Unite, which is backing Mr Pilling's campaign, and feature the Free Press logo to show the newspaper's support. Anyone wanting copies to put up or hand out can contact Mr Pilling on 671926.

This is one fight that we all, the people of North East York's must win at all costs.

Today bridlington, tommorow your local hospital.

The Bridlington hospital is being closed by the most obnoxious of means, stealth, the trust board are using every dirty trick in their vast repertoire, for no good or ligitimate reason they are reducing a modern, well equipt hospital to the status of a day care unit.

We must all in the region support Mick Pilling and his campaign group.

We will be there from Scarborough, will you?
fight for it or lose it!!!
