FLAMBOROUGH Lifeboat was launched on Saturday following reports that a person was missing in the area.
The crew began a search of the coastline between Danes Dyke and Thornwick Bay at 3.50pm, but due to poor visibility and the low tide making it difficult to see the shore, returned to the boathouse an hour later.

The person was later found safe and well.
