HUNDREDS of skaters and spectators flocked to the opening of Gasworx at the weekend.
Bridlington Mayor Coun Ray Allerston cut the ribbon on Saturday and lots of people turned up to enjoy a day of free skating.

The Vans skate team gave a demonstration, and among them was professional skater Marc Churchill, who designed the £500,000 skatepark at Dukes Park.

Nick Johnson, Gasworx manager, said: "It was a fantastic day and we have had some brilliant feedback.

"There was a really relaxed atmosphere and everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves."

He would like to thank the following business for their support: Adrian Williams Cash and Carry, Board Patrol skate shop, Hilderthorpe Cycles, Currys, Bells Cycles, Grip Cycles, The Royal Hotel and Sandsend Hotel.
