FINANCE director Sandy Hogg has officially left Scarborough and North East Yorkshire Healthcare NHS Trust.
News that she had offered her resignation broke last week, but the trust has now confirmed she has moved on.

Chief executive Iain McInnes, who is also departing, said: "We are sorry that Sandy is leaving the trust and would like to thank her for her significant contribution over the last year.

"Sandy has made a huge contribution to the management of the trust and ensured that we delivered a balanced budget.

"We have made a lot of progress together during the last year which will help to ensure a long term future for local hospital services.

"We wish Sandy every success for the future."

Ms Hogg, who was also deputy chief executive, said: "I joined the trust a year ago to improve the longstanding financial problems and to help build a strong organisation.

"I have enjoyed working at the trust and would like to offer all staff my very best wishes for the future. I live locally and will therefore continue to take a keen interest in both Bridlington and Scarborough hospitals and their development."

Lets have a local elected trust board, instead of a NHS imposed quango.
