INCIDENTS to make the blood boil are a regular occurrence for many, but Bridlington Rotary Club helped keep blood pressure in check by offering free tests.
Dr Abu Nasar, an internationally renowned authority on Parkinson's Disease, was on hand with nurses from the Lawrence Unit at Bridlington Hospital to offer advice and free tests to passers-by in the Promenades Shopping Centre.

Rotary president Mike Almondsaid that the fifth annual event was a great success and thanked all involved for their support.

"We tested in excess of 350 people. There were relatively few who presented a real concern so we were delighted about that.

"It was once again a very worthwhile and successful event for all the people that came along," he said.
