A TEENAGE driver was punched by another motorist in an altercation on a country road.
The 19-year-old was driving his blue Vauxhall Corsa along Woldgate on Saturday lunchtime when he was attacked.

A silver Peugeot 106 which had been travelling in front of him stopped suddenly and the driver got out and shouted abuse. There was an argument and the teenager was punched in the face, sustaining cuts and grazes.

He pushed his attacker to the floor, jumped into his car and drove off.
