BRIDLINGTON police attended an unusual call on South Marine Drive.
Last Wednesday, at 5.30pm, a single decker bus collided with a bus shelter, causing significant damage to both the shelter and the bus.

The driver, a 64-year-old man from the Sheffield area, was about to drive the 34 passengers back home after a day trip when the collision occurred.

None of the passengers nor the driver were hurt.

A replacement coach was sent to take the passengers home to South Yorkshire.
