A MAN has been released on bail following an armed police stand-off in Trinity Road last Tuesday.
The 31-year-old was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray and assault following unsuccessful negotiations with armed officers lasting over three hours.

He was believed to have been armed with a knife and behaving aggressively, refusing to come out of his flat, until police in riot gear forced their way into the building and took him away.
