THEY go 'rockin' all over the world' but have fond memories of Bridlington Spa.
Status Quo have been around for decades but they are still going strong and were regular visitors to Bridlington Spa before its £20million facelift.
Before their last visit, late in 2002, singer and guitarist Rick Parfitt spoke to the Free Press.
He said: "We love Bridlington, it's a great gig.
"We must have been coming here on and off for 25 years and the atmosphere in the Spa is fantastic.
"Bridlington is an out-and-out rock venue, I don't know why.
"You wouldn't think it would be like that because of the shape of the building and the balcony.
"You would think it's more Sunday tea dance but when the Spa is packed to the rafters with people who want to see the band, it's transformed.
"We get all walks of life there, anything from eight to 80.
"There's a new generation of Quo fans and we're going to continue as long as we can."
Rick said the band would love to take a walk around the town but constant requests for autographs and photographs would mean they would not get to see too much of the resort.
Not that they mind the attention.
"When people stop recognising you, that's the time you've got to worry," Rick said.
