Win a pair of tickets to see Keane's gig in Dalby Forest

THIS week we are giving away a pair of tickets this summer's Keane concert in Dalby Forest.

The Forestry Commission has announced that Keane will stage a mega outdoor concert in Dalby Forest, near Pickering, on June 25.

Rated as one of the nation’s top live bands, they will perform in a natural tree lined auditorium in North Yorkshire’s biggest woodland with a capacity of 5,000.

Keane follow in the footsteps of previous top acts to play the 8,600 acre rustic venue including Paul Weller, Travis, Embrace, and The Beautiful South.

Cash raised by the gig will be used to care for woodlands across North Yorkshire and the Tees Valley.

Organiser Paul Cody said: “It’s another fantastic name to add to the Dalby play-list and a tribute to the pulling power of the forest.”

Keane have had three consecutive Number One albums – Hopes And Fears in 2004, Under The Iron Sea in 2006, and Perfect Symmetry in 2008.

They have won Brits, Grammys and Ivor Novello awards.

Their collection of hits including Everybody’s Changing, Is It Any Wonder?, Bed-Shaped, Somewhere Only We Know and Spiralling, has secured Keane’s place as one of Britain’s best-loved bands.

As well as selling an impressive 10 million albums, the band’s live reputation is marked by their huge sold out arena tours and critical acclaim. Tickets for the Dalby Foest gig cost 32 (subject to booking fee) and are on sale now from the ticket hotline 01842 814612 or buy online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music & www.keanemusic.com.
