A TASTE of the sea was on offer at the successful annual Seafood Festival.

Held at Bridlington Harbour, the festival returned last weekend with lots to get your claws into.

Organised by Bridlington Harbour Commissioners, the festival showcases the best of the harbour, celebrating our local maritime heritage and successful fishing fleet which boasts one of the largest shellfish catches in the UK.

The festival also featured a treasure hunt, live shellfish to view, crab dressing and cookery demonstrations.

Also at the festival were Coble Boats of the East Coast, who displayed photographs and information about old vessels, while appealing for any stories or memories of cobles used along the Holderness coast in East Yorkshire.
