Real-life board game launches

BRIDLINGTON’S big Christmas board game, ‘Bridopoly’, launches in the town today.

The game – launched by Bridlington Town Council, the Promenades Shopping Centre, Bridlington Spa and local businesses – is a way to encourage shoppers to explore Bridlington town centre has to offer in the run up to Christmas.

You can pick up a Bridopoly card from any of these participating outlets:

On Chapel Street – Tamaras, Cooplands, Peacocks, Four Seasons, Thorntons, Busy Bees and the 3 Store. On Prince Street there is Marks & Spencer and P & P News, while in the Promenades Shopping Centre there are Cooplands, Select, Quayside Diner and Poundland.

Boyes, the RNLI Shop, the British Heart Foundation shop, all on King Street, are participating, as well as The Cop Shop in Bridge Street and Bridlington Spa on South Marine Drive.

The ‘Bridopoly’ card will also be distributed throughout local schools.

Get a stamp in each participating outlet, and once completed, the cards will be entered into a draw to win £50 – while the first 200 entries will automatically receive a goody bag.

Once complete, fill in the back of the card and hand in to the Promenades Shopping Centre or The Spa box office by Saturday, December 10. The winning card will be drawn on Monday, December 12.
