Parkrun cancelled

DUE to severe weather, the Parkrun event at Sewerby Hall and Gardens scheduled for Saturday, 11 February has been cancelled.

Marie Gascoigne, facility manager at the Hall, said: “With the recent snow compacting into ice and the threat of more snow to come, we have regrettably decided to cancel this event.

“We apologise for any inconvenience to runners that this may cause but some of the course is extremely treacherous at the moment.”
