A LOCAL dancer is still looking for help to fulfill her dream of performing in the Olympics opening ceremony.
Sarah Longley, 21, of Bempton Lane, Flamborough, has been chosen to dance in the opening ceremony in July – but faces a fight to pay for transport to London for each of the required 22 rehearsals.
Since a report in last week’s Free Press, Sarah has already received £500 from Northampton University, £50 from governors at Headlands School, and promises of fund-raising support from Michelle Hatton, Mary Sunley at the Flamborough Tennis Club, the Old Tuck Shop on Tower Street and Bridlington Job Centre, which is holding a bacon butty morning to raise funds.
But she still needs more help. You can contact Sarah by email at email@example.com or contact the Free Press on 677338.
