Magic of Queen

QUEEN fans can hear the closest thing to their idols in Bridlington this month.

Tribute act Magic – A Kind of Queen, will be bringing the sound, spirit and atmosphere of one of Britain's best-loved bands to the Spa Royal Hall.

For more than 15 years, the band have been dedicating their show to Freddie Mercury, Brian May and the gang.

They don't try to look like Queen, but claim to perform their music vocally and instrumentally better than other Queen shows.

Aided by spectacular lighting, pyrotechnics and background projected images of Queen in action, lead singer Roger Brown throws his heart and soul into performing hits like Killer Queen, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions and Bohemian Rhapsody.

Trevor Lock provides the distinctive 'Brian May' guitar sound. Keyboard player Dave Chapman, guitarists Dave Fusaro and Charlie Sutton and drummer Rob Lock complete the line up.

Magic – A Kind Of Queen visits on Friday, July 17 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are 15 and are available from 678258 or online at www.thespabridlington.com.
