Liggett - McTurk

LIANNE Liggett and Adam McTurk were married at the Priory Church, Bridlington, on October 10.

The bride is the daughter of Walter and Patricia Liggett, of Third Avenue, Bridlington, and the groom is the son of Joan McTurk and the late James McTurk, of Sewerby Road, Bridlington.

Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown with pearl and cashmere stitched detail.

She carried a bouquet of ivory roses and white freesias.

Matron of honour Mrs Charlotte Thompson (bride's friend) and bridesmaid Miss Sophie McTurk (groom's sister) wore full-length satin dresses with pearl detail. They carried hand-tied ivory roses.

Page boys were Master Toby McTurk (bride and groom's son) who was also the ringbearer and Master Noah Thompson (bride's Godson).

Following the ceremony, conducted by the Rev K Godfrey, a reception was held at Sewerby Grange Hotel.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Cyprus and are to live in Bridlington.

The bride is a self-employed shopkeeper and the bridegroom is a stonemason for JG Gardiner Ltd.

The couple met locally.
