Family Christmas show at the Spotlight Theatre
Pauline Pope, Sue White, Holly White, Stefan Jefferson and Bob Downing are among the cast of the Christmas show.
THE Spotlight Theatre’s Christmas show is now open.
A Family Christmas is Bridlington Amateur Operatics and Dramatic Society’s (BOADs) musical variety show, featuring a host of Christmas songs and carols.
The show opens with three generations of one family who are having a party in their home and are treated to a flashback after reminiscing about Christmas past – which sees the company sing a selection of past Christmas songs.
The family are then interrupted by the sound of carol singers, who are invited to the party to sing carols – and the audience are invited to join in.
The second half of the show features more recent Christmas songs which means that the show really does have something for everyone.
The show has been directed and choreographed by Oprah Kitchen, with assistant producer Stefan Jefferson. Musical director, Geoff Allanach, plays the keyboard, with Sue Tompkin on the drums.
A family Christmas is on tonight (Thursday), as well Tuesday, December 18 and Wednesday, 19 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from Bridlington Blinds and Curtains, top of Bridge Street.
