By the time he got home he received a phone call from Bridlington police saying a person had handed the wallet in and even though there was over £200 in cash and his credit cards and other personal stuff, nothing was missing.
Knowing I have a boat
in Brid harbour and I am at Brid most weekends he phoned me to ask where Brid police station was.
I told him I get the Brid Free Press nearly every week and it would be nice if I could write to you on his behalf and ask you to thank the person very much and to also let the people of Bridlington know that there are still some good honest folk live in Brid.
Kind regards
Kev,
via email.
Linda replies: It's a pleasure to pass on thanks to deserving people Kev and it's always good to know how many honest helpful people there are in our town.
On behalf of Kev, a big thank you to the good Samaritan who handed in the wallet with all its contents intact, your good deed was really appreciated.
