The marina plans are all very well and good but at the end of the day it is the Harbour Commissioners who stop it every time.
They seem to be intent on controlling this fantastic conception and should have been disbanded by the Government the last time this came up.

They will stop the new plans again so I am not holding my breath to see this in my lifetime – and I'm only 30.

Get rid of the commissioners and let's get a marina to go alongside the spa and put this town well and truly on the map.

Let's make this town something to be proud of once again.

P Hopwood, via text,
