THE first pantomime for three years to take the stage at Bridlington Spa starts on Monday.
Cinderella, starring the showbiz magic couple Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee, is already pulling in the punters.

According to the Spa, tickets sales have gone particularly well for shows between now and Christmas.

The message is, if you want to
see this traditional panto in the newly refurbished Spa Theatre before December 25, book now.

At the moment there is more availability between Christmas and up to the show closing on Sunday January 4.

Paul Daniels, who plays Baron Hardup in the show, is no stranger to Bridlington, having performed magic shows at the old Spa several times.

For wife Debbie, who plays the Fairy Godmother, it is her first time in the resort.

According to Paul he loves ad libbing and adding his own jokes into each performance.

They and the other cast members started rehearsals on Sunday.

Sharing the stage as Cinderella is Jennifer Potts, Terry Gleed plays Buttons, comedy duo Armstrong and Gray take on the ugly sisters, with Adam McNab as Prince Charming and Gary Jordan as Dandini.

The show also includes performances from dancers from the Collette Tyler School of Dance in Bridlington.

Also watch out for the real live Sheltland ponies who pull Cinderella's coach.

Tickets cost between £9.50 and £17 and are available from the box office on 678258.

Concessions and family group prices are also available.
