HAVING not played a competitive game of football for a few weeks Flamborough Junior Football Club's girls decided to organise their own in-house tournament.
They split the girls up into four teams, with the Puffins captained by Jordan Stephenson; Seagulls by Gem Bradey; Gannets by Paris Pilmoor and the Guillemots by Demi Hanson.

The girls manager Martin Robson said: “It was pretty good. We mixed all the U12s and U14s up and all the girls enjoyed themselves, and enjoyed playing against each other. It was a good day.”

They all played six games on a home and away basis.

Finishing with 15 points the winners of the Thornwick and Seafarm Holiday Camp Cup were the Seagulls.

Full results: Gannets 1 Guillemots 0, Puffins 1 Seagulls 2, Gannets 0 Seagulls 4, Puffins 3 Guillemots 2, Gannets 1 Puffins 2, Seagulls 3 Guillemots 4; Gannets 0 Guillemots 3, Puffins 1 Seagulls 3, Seagulls 6 Gannets 0, Guillemots 0 Puffins 0, Puffins 2 Gannets 0, Seagulls 5 Guillemots 4.
