POLICE are warning Hornsea people not to give their bank details out over the phone as bogus callers may be operating in our region.
Humberside Police have received a number of calls from concerned East Riding residents who have been contacted by a company claiming to operate on behalf of a bank.

The caller then asks residents about bank charges and requests their account details in what police believe may be a possible scam.

Police are urging people not to release their account information over the phone to such callers and anybody who believes they have been targeted by a bogus caller should contact Humberside Police on 0845 6060222.
