The annual general meeting of Bridlington Probus Club was held at the Expanse Hotel on Thursday, May 7, with 36 members attending.
Reports were given by the secretary, retiring chairman and treasurer.
New chairman Bruce Petfield was installed and announced there would be a special celebration of the club's 40th anniversary in January next year.
The new committee was proposed and accepted: chairman Bruce Petfield, vice-chairman Barry Rowe, secretary Ralph Ainscough, assistant secretary Len Collins, treasurer Cyril Dawson, assistant treasurer Bryon Shepherd, speaker finder Ken Tunstall, publicity officer Ivor Shepherd, social secretary Gerry Athay, chaplain Cyril Dawson, members Paul Lowe, John Miller, Ivor Shepherd, honorary auditor Barrie Beckett, immediate past chairman Harold Ingleson.
