THIS huge six-pointer at the foot of the table went the way of Radcliffe Borough thanks to Steve Howson's 88th minute winner, leaving Town with a mountain to climb if they are to stay in the UniBond League.

This was a massive win for Borough and should be about enough to guarantee them UniBond football next season, unless Town win their last two games – which is doubtful on this showing.

Radcliffe took the lead eight minutes before the break when Neil Chappell poked home after a goalmouth scramble.

But the home side hit back within a minute of the break when Luke Smith finished in style after a neat move through the centre of the park.
In the second period there were limited chances at each end before Howson steered home a cross from the right, and he celebrated in style with fans Borough fans behind the goal.
